Sometimes, teeth can be damaged for various reasons. Crowns are applied when there is damage to the teeth that will lead to loss of dental tissue or loss of function. As long as the tooth roots are intact, the crown application is preferred to give the tooth function and protect the roots. If the roots have lost their strength, implants are used. There are several different materials preferred for crown application. One of them is ceramic crowns. Ceramic crowns, which are more similar to the natural structure of the tooth compared to other materials, give the tooth a natural appearance. Tissue compatibility with gum is higher than with metal-supported crowns.
